The following list is a work in progress.
Some of my "wow" travel moments have been:
-Saw Botticelli´s "Primavera" in person for the first time
-Visited Stonehenge after reading Thomas Hardy´s "Tess of the d'urbervilles"
-Saw flocks of puffins across the Norwegian Sea, on the way to Andenes.

I would love to visit the puffin colonies on Mykines, the Faroe Islands and on Isle of May, Scotland someday.
